Miami Marketta is a night market that comes alive with street food from around the world, complete with live music. It’s the Gold Coast’s original creative precinct.
It is a laneway dining experience with street frontage at each end. You can wander through and find street food, live music with themed spaces tucked away as ‘studios’ down both sides.
It is opened from 5pm Wednesday to Sunday. It’s free to access and no bookings are needed. However, if you would prefer, you can book a table online.

The Marketta is a high energy venue, with crowds of people enjoying the space.
There is seating for up to 500 people and it’s fully licensed with boutique local beer and wine.
There is free live music as well as weekly ticketed events.
The Mona Lisaa Lair offers the quietest area and has mixed seating including some with backs and armrests. The Gin Bar also offers some seating with backs and armrests.
The other studios offer mixed seating, various themes
and activities.
The Cargo Stage showcases emerging artists and bands.
There’s mixed seating including high tables and stools
and long tables with chairs with backs but not armrests.
It’s best to check the website before you go to see what’s on.
Mona Lisas Lair offers a quieter space with mixed seating.

Miami Marketta is located at 23 Hillcrest Parade, Miami. To get there by public transport, take a Surfside Buslines bus to the Miami State High School stop. It is about a 400metre walk from that bus stop to the venue.
You can also drive, take an Uber or a Taxi. There is a drop off point at the front in the loading zone. Security is based at both and will assist with access into the venue.
There is no designated accessible parking available.
Amenities
There is a unisex accessible toilet LH transfer.
There is a unisex accessible bathroom located at the Hillcrest Parade end. It has a small sign outside. The light switch is 1245mm high and is on a timer. The door width is 795mm. The toilet is LH transfer; the pan height is 468mm and the grabrail is 830mm H. The basin has 690mm clear space underneath. The soap dispenser is directly above the sink and the hand dryer is located on the wall between the toilet and the basin.
There are ambulant cubicles in both the Male and Female toilets located about halfway along the Marketta.
