Little Temple presents
with special guests The Dharma Chain and Wet Season.
Friday 14th August (18+)
Dear Doonan is a sunburnt six piece hailing from the points of Noosa, with an energetic live show symbiotic with their eclectic world sound. Their genre is a melting pot of Turkish, Indian and African influences and instrumentation, fuzed with psychedelic music stylings from the 1970’s. Expect to be hypnotised by the kaleidoscopic musical journey featuring transcendental sitar, pulsing bass, percussive grooves, rolling banjos, buzzing surf guitar and melodic flute and trumpet solos – shrouded in a dreamy psychedelic haze. Leaving audiences awed with gratitude - questioning what they’d just experienced. This is a band for those who are searching for that little bit more!

Miami Marketta (18+)
Eleven shows, across six states of Australia, with over 4,500 minutes of new music from their most recent album Bittersweet Demons.
~A dizzying delight of cracking songs, all set to provide some superior sonic sparkle.~
The latest album is a reflection on the people who leave a profound imprint, the saviours and hellraisers and assorted other mystifying characters.
Kenny-Smith, on the title track “Whilst we were on tour in America in 2019 one of my sweetest and dearest friends Keegan Walker passed away. His presence was unlike any other I have ever experienced. That kind of person that’s forever filling you up with joyous excitement. Someone that always took the time and effort to be in your life and support you through the thick and thin no matter what. Every time I came home from tour he was always the first to contact me and come by with some croissants and a handful of lavender that he’d pick from my front garden. Keegan was always there for his friends. A few days after the funeral I sat back down to play at the piano and the words started to come out and feel right. I reckon Keegan would’ve loved this song, he loved this kind of soppy stuff cause he’s a softie just like me”
Hello My Beautiful World Tour
Thu 25 Nov - Miami Marketta (18+)
Fresh from the announcement of their forthcoming fourth album, Hello My Beautiful World out Friday 20 August, Holy Holy shares their irrepressible new single The Aftergone (feat. CLEWS). To mark the release, the sonic masterminds have announced a national tour in November and December.
Recorded in a series of modest studios and spare rooms in Tasmania and Victoria, Holy Holy’s fourth album, Hello My Beautiful World is perhaps their most fully realised. Built upon a foundation of electronic beats and rolling synths, the record combines lush string arrangements, May-esque guitar riffs and chanted vocals to produce a heady and persuasive mix. The record moves fluidly through a collection of feverish moods and atmospheres, unfolding unpredictably and building to a series of fierce and manic highs. It’s a dense and ambitious record suited to close and repeated listening.

THE SMITH STREET BAND
With Money Boys
Thursday 02 September
Miami Marketta 18+
With touring looking pretty different over the last year or so The Smith Street Band have played the revolving stage at Yours & Owls Festival, reworked their live show into an acoustic set for seated crowds in Sydney, Melbourne and across regional Victoria, and teamed up with The Brisbane Symphony Orchestra for two sold out shows at The Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane.
A band with a reputation for constant touring, The Smith Street Band spent much of the last 18 months keeping as busy as possible: releasing a studio album, three live albums, and lead singer Wil Wagner put out a solo album and re-released an old demo collection. With all six releases landing in the ARIA Album charts.
"Australia!!!! This is our first big proper tour in what feels like forever! We are so excited to be going all over the country playing rock shows again!! See you all soon!" Wil Wagner
Joining The Smith Street Band on the upcoming run are Melbourne newcomers Money Boys. A band just starting out but already making a statement. Money Boys recently released their debut EP No Wealth But Life, recorded with producer Greg Rietwyk (Press Club’s guitarist) at his studio under Melbourne’s iconic Westgate Bridge.
NOW WE'RE TOURIN'
FRIDAY 01 OCTOBER
Miami Marketta 18+
Sydney’s favourite definitely-still-a-rock-band rock band, Polish Club are touring Australia, or rather, tourin’, for their Now We’re Tourin’ national tour. Novak and JH are bringing their full band on the road in September and October, serving up choice cuts from their upcoming 3rd LP Now We’re Cookin’.
In the lead up to their first tour as a four piece band, the duo have recently dropped 'Whack', the fourth song off their upcoming album. Complete with fuzzy riffs and gang vocals, this hot, rockin' banger will surely go right off live. With other recent tracks 'Stop For A Minute', 'No Heaven' and 'Just Talking', plus Now We're Cookin' coming out July 23, the band won't be short of new material to play live.
And the crowd won't be short of Clubs to join at these shows, with Press Club completing this delicious 2 for 1 PC deal. The Melbourne four piece will be taking their equally frenetic live show along for the ride at every show for Now We're Tourin'.
It's been far too long between shows for Polish Club's liking, and they're ready to bring irresponsible levels of energy and chaos to venues around the country. Don't miss it, cuz who knows what'll happen next…
...actually we do know what will happen next. You'll go to polishclubshop.com to pre-order Polish Club's album and grab some tasty merch.

Cult Club presents...
Buttered 'Love' Tour
with special guests Bronte Eve Band & Harrison R. King.
Friday 16th July
Miami Marketta 18+
BUTTERED is made up of Scott Dalton, Jackson James Smith, and a whole lot of blonde hair – their look being the very personification of their band name.
By name and by nature, Buttered are releasing another silky, buttery single, LOVE.
“Love” blends groove and emotion leaving the listener feeling elevated. “Love” is about the beginning of true commitment. The excitement and possibilities that come with creating a life with someone. It’s also about how that feeling translates universally. The shape and size of our love in every part of our lives colour and intensifies everything we are. The classic Wurlitzer drives through the entire song accompanying the strong vocal hooks and delicate guitar parts. Picture yourself dancing softly with your partner reminiscing on many years of joy.
Join them at their hometown single launch at Miami Marketta on Friday 16th July with friends Bronte Eve & Band and our MC Saint Lane.
More guest to be announced.
